Buona Pasqua dall’Accademia Alfonsiana
Carissimi,
vorrei porgere a voi tutti gli auguri di una Santa Pasqua condividendo un passaggio del testo che papa Francesco ci ha rivolto durante l’Udienza dello scorso 9 febbraio, quando ha accolto tutta l’Accademia, docenti, studenti, collaboratori tutti, in occasione del 70° anniversario della sua fondazione.
Il Papa ci sprona a fare teologia morale in fedeltà alle radici alfonsiane «Ponendoci in ascolto rispettoso della realtà e cercando insieme di discernere i segni della presenza dello Spirito, che genera liberazione e nuove possibilità» in modo da «aiutare tutti a camminare con gioia nella via del bene».
L’invito che il Papa ci ha rivolto, spinge a metterci in ascolto fiducioso e senza timore della realtà per annunciare ed essere segno concreto della Redenzione di Cristo.
Il nostro fare teologia morale, come comunità accademica, deve porsi alla ricerca delle verità salvifiche da annunciare agli uomini del nostro tempo, accompagnando i fedeli in Cristo in percorsi che li aiutino a ricercare, riconoscere e vivere il Bene, e portare frutto nella carità.
Auguro a tutta la comunità accademia dell’Alfonsiana di far proprie queste parole nel fare teologia morale, ricordandoci sempre che «presso il Signore è la misericordia e grande presso di lui la redenzione» (salmo 129, 7).
Un grazie sincero a tutti coloro che credono e aiutano a portare avanti il progetto Accademia Alfonsiana.

Easter wishes from the Alphonsian Academy
My Dearest Brothers and Sisters,
A Happy Easter to all. It’s my joy to greet each of you for this Easter and share this reflection with you in line with the words of the Holy Father as he welcomed the whole of the Academy, the Professors, the Students and all the Collaborators, on its Diamond Jubilee, on the 9th of February 2019.
The Pope exhorts us to do moral theology in fidelity to our Alphonsian roots, “By trusting in God’s Grace, listening respectfully to real situations and seeking together, to discern the signs of the presence of the Spirit, which generates liberation and new possibilities” and to “help everyone journey with joy in the way of good”.
The Holy Father summons us to listen with faith and without fear of the pressing realities and be a concrete sign of the Redemption of Christ.
Our doing moral theology, as an academic community, must pursue us in our search for salvific truths, which must be announced to the people of our time, accompanying the faithful in Christ in ways that help them: to seek, to recognize and to live the Good, and bear fruit in charity.
I wish the community of the Alphonsian academy to embrace these thoughts while doing moral theology, while always reminding ourselves that “with the Lord there is mercy and with Him there is plentiful redemption” (Psalm 129, 7).

Felices Pascuas les desea la Academia Alfonsiana
Estimados amigos,
Quisiera expresarles todos los mejores deseos para una Pascua santa compartiendo un pasaje del texto que el Papa Francisco nos dirigió durante la Audiencia el 9 de febrero pasado, cuando recibió a toda la Academia, profesores, estudiantes y todos los colaboradores, en la ocasión del 70 aniversario de su fundación.
El Papa nos insta a hacer teología moral en fidelidad a las raíces alfonsianas “Escuchando respetuosamente la realidad y tratando de discernir juntos los signos de la presencia del Espíritu, lo que genera liberación y nuevas posibilidades” para “ayudar a todos a caminar con gozo en el camino del bien”.
El mensaje que el Papa nos dirigió, nos invita a escuchar con fidelidad y sin temor a la realidad, a anunciar y ser un signo concreto de la Redención de Cristo.
Nuestro modo de hacer teología moral, como una comunidad académica, debe buscar verdades salvíficas para anunciarlas a los hombres de nuestro tiempo, acompañando a los fieles en Cristo en formas que los ayuden a buscar, reconocer y vivir el bien y dar frutos en la caridad.
Deseo que toda la comunidad de la Academia Alfonsiana adopte estas palabras al hacer teología moral, y siempre nos acordemos que “en Él se encuentra la misericordia y la redención en abundancia” (Salmo 129, 7).
Un sincero agradecimiento a todos aquellos que creen y ayudan a llevar a cabo el proyecto de la Academia Alfonsiana.
